Promens Materials Handling Products develops and manufactures products for the storage and transport of food ingredients, pharmaceuticals and chemicals. With over 50 years of experience in the field, we have created innovative products for the handling of powders, highly viscous materials and liquid chemicals.
At Promens our motto is "shaping plastics beyond the obvious", an approach that has resulted in the development of products that have won numerous awards for innovative packaging. After our first award winning product was introduced in 1958, several others followed including, in 2004, the iCon with ConTracer system, a multi-trip, UN-approved transport container for chemicals with integrated spill containment and a tracking and tracing system (which received the Dutch innovation award Gouden Noot and WorldStar Award in 2004) and the Shellfish Tank for Aqualife to transport living shellfish by sea and road (which received the Dutch Award, ScanStar and WorldStar, and was nominated for the President's Award from the World Packaging Organisation in 2008).
The all-plastic multi-trip products are produced in the Promens factories in Europe and North America, using a rotational moulding process.
